Hey everybody, look at this shiny object in my left hand! Meanwhile, the media ignores the plummeting dollar, rampant inflation, chronic unemployment, 5 wars escalating, corporate ripoffs (with NO-ONE going to jail!), and numerous other heinous acts being committed against the American People. This 'Birther issue' is a convenient 'Red Herring' propaganda effort by the corporate media to distract people from the issues that REALLY matter! And the President and the DNC (and their union and corporate puppetmasters) are more than happy to let this pseudo-controversy fester, since it distracts the public from what a horrible job the Obama Administration is doing.

The Question that those in the lapdog media SHOULD be asking is: Why does the President not END this 'controversy once and for all, and in keeping with his 'transparency' promises, just release ALL relevant documents associated with his murky past? He refuses to do it because of two reasons: There is obviously something in his birth, school, political and personal records that is embarrassing to him (Don't slur me with the Birther' label- THAT is NOT the issue!); and (more importantly) this whole 'Birther' issue gives Obama's political operatives a big propaganda hammer to beat down ANY opposition- without having to use any facts or refute any allegations!

Nixon didn't get in trouble for the crimes committed under his watch- he got taken down by THE COVER-UP! If there's nothing to hide, then why spend time, money and government resources to stymie any release of basic documents? ANd why does the mere asking of valid questions about the President of the United States get every questioner attacked, slandered and marginalized? I thought it was the patriotic duty of every American to question authority- not bow down with unquestioned loyalty before our leaders... Is this still America? Or just another statist regime that hides things from the people?

Like ending the 5 Wars we are now engaged in, which are very profitable for the very same corporate interests that own most of the media. Like ending the privately-owned Bankster's Consortium known as the Federal Reserve's ability to milk the American economy (and taxpayers!) by severely devaluing the American Dollar, doling out TRILLIONS in corporate Welfare to member Banks and affiliates (both foreign and American), as well as supporting an internationalist Progressive Agenda that is weakening American sovereignty, power and economic leadership.

Ron Paul was laughed at in 2008 when he stated during the debates how BOTH Parties were getting us into unnecessary wars that drain America's Blood and Treasure, are borrowing and spending us into oblivion, and are eroding and crushing our cherished Constitutional rights in the name of protecting them! No one is laughing now, yet no one is giving Ron Paul the credit for awakening America to the perils of a government run amok.

Isn't it time the media stopped ignoring, attacking and ridiculing Ron Paul and actually started LISTENING to him?

Fire burns- Media Blames GM- Was It The SUZUKI????

Hmmm... Fire starts in garage where TWO plug-in electric vehicles are parked. One (the Volt) is a factory-made vehicle that meets or exceeds all industry standards for this powertrain. The other (Suzuki) was 'retrofitted' to use and store electricity. I wonder which one was responsible? All the mainstream press was willing to jump on the GM product even before ANY investigation was conducted, let alone concluded. The 'FrankenSuzuki' wasn't even mentioned in nearly all initial press reports! Seems to me that most ink-stained wretches are quick to pile on GM, without even KNOWING the facts in the case.

Maybe it was the GE-Designed charging system that started the fire... Or maybe racoons chewing the wires... The point is, when you jump to conclusions and smear a company or an individual, it not only unfairly tarnishes someone's good name, it also exposes the accuser's gross lack of critical thinking skills, as well as a bias so deep that it trumps any logic or common sense.

Perhaps the Volt may ultimately be responsible for the fire. At this point we STILL don't know. However, we DO know that a big portion of the media in this country have exposed their journalistic irresponsibility and lack of objectivity by being willing to jump on and exploit ANY story that fits their social, economic or political agenda.

TSA Searches 6-Year Old- Potential Terrorist???????

So, the TSA says it's "officer followed proper current screening procedures." THAT is the problem! If 'proper procedures' include invasive searches of six-year-old girls, then it's not the officers that are the problem- IT'S THE PROCEDURES! Not only do procedures like this NOT enhance U.S. Security, by wasting time, labor and money on ridiculous procedures on people that should be at the BOTTOM of the list of suspects, the TSA is WASTING precious time, money and resources that could be better used in actually intercepting someone who MIGHT be a terrorist.

Of course, they always come back with 'social norms will be exploited' by terrorists. Really? How many typical Midwestern American families with Six-Year-Olds along have tried to commit terrorism? The mind-numbing adherence to political correctness instead of common sense by the TSA is what the Terrorist will seek to exploit- not any 'social norms'. The only result of such unconstitutional and. frankly IRRATIONAL searches is that of the American public being inured to the repeated violations of their rights and freedoms by the government. All this is being done in the name of 'Safety and Security'. But such actions and procedures actually weaken our safety and security, by keeping agents from focusing on REAL potential terrorists. Instead, thousands of innocent Americans are forced by the government to give up their Fourth Amendment rights simply for the ability to exercise their First Amendment right to free association by traveling in an accepted means of normal travel.

Settle the 'BIRTHER' issue once and for all...

The so-called 'Birther Issue' (whatever side you're on) is exactly the distraction that big-government progressives on the left and right are so good at. This sidebar controversy wouldn't be here if the President just produced the actual documents people have asked for. Instead, they pay BIG MONEY lawyers to seal any and all records related to Barack Obama's Birth, Education (including college transcripts, student aid, any dissertations or writings, etc.), associations (both religious and political) Financial backing and background, and on and on.

Why, you ask? To give the pliant Media a big, phony issue to hammer anyone who opposes their agenda! It seems that anyone who asks real questions in the corporate media these days- whatever their qualifications, history, intelligence or background- is attacked by the usual list of propaganda tactics like ad-hominem slurs, marginalization by false associations as well as simply being laughed at and called a nut. Even if the question remains unanswered. (It usually does).

There is something much bigger going on than this marginal (but eerily persistent) pseudo-controversy. American's B.S. detectors have been ringing non-stop of quite a while now. What President Obama and all his spin doctors, lawyers, 'Community Organizers', and other compatriots are failing to realize is, it's not so much the fact that you have something embarrassing or worse in your past... It's the fact that you're trying so damn hard to cover it up!
