Thaddeus McCotter would make a great President. He's intelligent, witty, personable and thinks outside the box. Unfortunately, he doesn't play well with the party establishment (Read Big-Money Fundraisers), so they will try to marginalize him until they can't ignore him anymore (Sound familiar?). Let's face it folks, Obama said he'll have One BILLION Dollars raised for his campaign war chest. You don't raise that kind of money without HEAVILY owing someone (or BEING owned). And not like owing Vinnie the Corner Bookie, more like 'owing a favor' to Vito Corleone, (but with a better PR Guy!).
The system, from the FEC, the parties, the media, the election laws and on down are set up to de facto exclude ANYONE who strays too far from the 'Party Line'. And both the Demopublican and the Republicratic parties are HEAVILY indebted to the the Big Banksters, Wall Street, Big Labor and every other K-Street House of Prostitution that buys and sells out the American people on a daily basis (but at a high hourly rate!).
SO what are we to do? Inform yourself. Get involved. Don't vote for the guy you want to have a beer with, or who looks like they should be hosting American Idol. It might be the guy who doesn't even drink beer, or the one who all the media flacks call 'crazy' that just might be the only one who can save this country from what seem to be escalating calamities.
Careful with your 2012 vote... This one's going to be VERY Important!
